Roger joined the Department in 1996 as a Reserve Police Officer and was hired full time in 1998. Since then Roger has been a Patrol Officer, School Resource Officer and Field Training Officer. For 21 years Roger was the Department Firearms Instructor/ Weapons armorer and he served on the CEMLEC regional swat team.
In 2016, Roger was promoted to Sergeant and served as a Patrol Supervisor. In January of 2023, Roger was promoted to Lieutenant and serves as the Community Services Commander responsible for dayshift patrol, Community Action Team, traffic services and he is the administrator of the departments body worn cameras. Roger holds a bachelor degree from Westfield State College and is a lifelong resident of the Town Hudson.
