The Uniformed Patrol Division is the largest in the Department and is the cornerstone of law enforcement operations. Patrol personnel of the Hudson Police Department are the primary responders to crimes and calls for service. The goal of our patrol teams is to reduce crime and provide excellent service to our community. Patrol Officers respond to a wide variety of calls for service and actively patrol the Town of Hudson in an effort to prevent crime by their presence and conduct proactive enforcement measures.

The patrol division plays a crucial role in safeguarding the community and supporting the overall mission of the police department. Each shift is assigned at least one supervisor and four patrol officers. The Town of Hudson is broken up into 4 different sectors, with a patrol officer responsible for each sector. Police cruisers are equipped with medical kits including First Aid Supplies, Narcan, CPR Equipment, and an Automated Electronic Defibrillator or AED, and all officers are trained in the equipment.

The Patrol Division Commander, Lt. Michael Vroom, can be reached at mvroom@townofhudson.org or 978-562-7122 ext.212.
