
Chad Perry was hired as a reserve police officer in February of 1998. He was raised in the town of Bolton before moving to Hudson as a teenager in 1984. Captain Perry graduated from Hudson High School and then obtained a business degree from Middlesex Community college before deciding to become a police officer.
Captain Perry became a full time police officer in 1999 and worked in the patrol division which included being assigned as the department’s incident scene photographer and fingerprint recovery officer. Captain Perry was then assigned as a detective in 2006 where he worked as a general investigator until being promoted to Sergeant in 2009. Captain Perry then worked as a patrol Sergeant which included being in charge of the evidence room until being assigned as the police prosecutor in 2017. Captain Perry was then promoted to Captain in 2020. Captain Perry continues to live in Hudson with his wife Lisa and his daughter Michelle.
