Ice Cream Truck Vendors

Apply for an Ice Cream Truck Vending Permit

To sell ice cream from a truck, you must have a valid permit. This includes anyone who sells, displays, or offers to sell ice cream or other prepackaged food, as well as anyone who drives or operates the truck.

Permits are issued by the local police chief, a town or city board, or another authorized office. To get a permit, you must fill out and submit an application. All applications include a state and national criminal background check. By law, permits cannot be given to anyone who is a registered sex offender as defined by G.L. c. 6, § 178C.

How to Apply:

  1. Print and complete the application.
  2. Use the link above to schedule an appointment to have your fingerprints taken.
  3. Bring the application along with a check or money order payable to the Town of Hudson in the amount of $50.00 to your scheduled appointment.
