Michael Vroom

Michael Vroom, shift commander.

Michael Vroom is a longtime Hudson resident who has been active in his community for most of his life, earning the rank of Eagle Scout at the early age of 13. He is a graduate from Nashoba Regional High School in 1996 and went on to graduate with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice with a minor in psychology from Westfield State in 2000.

Lieutenant Vroom was hired as a reserve police officer in 2000 and became a full-time officer in 2001. In 2013 he was promoted to the rank of Sergeant and in 2016 he was then promoted to the rank of Lieutenant. In his current position, he is the shift commander during his 3 pm- 11 pm shift. He also oversees the evening/midnight patrol sergeants, firearms licensing division, and the bicycle patrol division.
