Police Chief Richard DiPersio reports that the Hudson Police Department arrested and charged one with trafficking Cocaine.
OLIVER AYLWARD, AGE 28, OF NATICK, MASSACHUSETTS, was arrested and charged with:
- Trafficking Cocaine
- Possession of a Class A substance
- Motor Vehicle Equipment Violations
On May 29, 2024, at approximately 4:45pm, Hudson Police Officers were dispatched to the area of Pope Street to be on the lookout for a vehicle being operated erratically. It was also reported the operator appeared to be impaired. Ofc.’s Cam O’Toole and Jason Hatstat responded and observed the vehicle traveling away from the location onto Main Street. Officers observed violations and conducted a traffic stop. While conducting the traffic stop, officers observed drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle and subsequently had Aylward step out of the vehicle. During the investigation and a further search of Aylward and his vehicle, officers discovered items to use drugs, a scale, over 2 grams of Fentanyl and 24 grams of cocaine, and $2,300 dollars in cash. Officers James Downing and Brennan Grimley assisted in the investigation.
Aylward was placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters to be booked, fingerprinted, and photographed. Aylward was arraigned in Marlborough District Court on the charges.
