Richard P. DiPersio

Chief of Police

Chief DiPersio was born and raised in the Hudson community, having attended all the local schools including Hudson High School. Go Hawks! He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. He is a graduate of the FBI Leeda Leadership Trilogy, and he has received numerous citations for exemplary service. Chief DiPersio began his career as a reserve police officer for the Hudson Police Department 1997. He was appointed full time in 1999 and spent the next 10 years assigned to the patrol division.

Captain

Chad Perry was hired as a reserve police officer in February of 1998. He was raised in the town of Bolton before moving to Hudson as a teenager in 1984. Captain Perry graduated from Hudson High School and then obtained a business degree from Middlesex Community college before deciding to become a police officer.

Tom Crippen began his career with the Hudson Police Department in 1998. He has a bachelor’s degree in History from Worcester State University and a master’s degree in Criminal Justice Administration from Western New England University. In 2004 he was promoted to Sergeant. He served as the Patrol Supervisor until 2009 when he was assigned Court Prosecutor.

Michael Vroom is a longtime Hudson resident who has been active in his community for most of his life, earning the rank of Eagle Scout at the early age of 13. He is a graduate from Nashoba Regional High School in 1996 and went on to graduate with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice with a minor in psychology from Westfield State in 2000.

Lieutenant, Community Services Div. Commander

Roger joined the Department in 1996 as a Reserve Police Officer and was hired full time in 1998. Since then Roger has been a Patrol Officer, School Resource Officer and Field Training Officer. For 21 years Roger was the Department Firearms Instructor/ Weapons armorer and he served on the CEMLEC regional swat team.
